hi, iv,e had this for a few weeks and only just looking into it properly, i bought it as a media recorder for recording from component source for better quality recordings.i thought it would act as an instant recorder so was immediately dissapointed to see what a fuss it is to get into recording mode,i then found that a hdmi to component lead i bought doesnt work from a sky hd box nor does a scart to component(obviously not the fault of the tv+ box)i have tried svideo from 2 sources(with output set to svid on source box)but cannot get a colour picture from any of the tv+ outputs.(so this prob is down to the tv+.) unless i select the recording source as composite.i networked it ok with twonky media manager on my pc and playback is quite good but there are lipsync probs. my previous instant recorder/ stand alone media player is a zengo 500gb, this only has composite in/out so by the time its gone through a hub(3 different sky/freeview boxes)the quality isnt great.finally i already have the cinema plug in for my 504 player so have tried loading that on tv+ without success.. any input from other tv+ users welcome.
